BINU’S 6 WICKET HAUL SINKS KCWA

An excellent bowling performance led Binu Vishwambaran helped Global defeat KCWA in a nail biting game of cricket. The day began with KCWA winning the toss and electing to bat first- a result which pleased as as we knew the pitch would be tricky to bat on initially. It took only two balls for Pravas to make the first breakthrough and was supported by Swaminathan from the opposite end. Binu and Pradish bowled excellenty with the pair just giving 12 runs and taking 7 wickets in 10.4 overs. Ajith also played his part by taking 2 wickets helping Global get KCWA all out for just 71 runs in 23 overs. Binu made sure he was the leading wicket taker by the end of the day by bagging 6 crucial wickets (wickets in almost every over) and just giving away 9 runs with three maiden overs in 6.4 overs. Pradish is another player that impressed everyone with the ball by only giving away 3 runs in 4 overs which included 3 maidens. But Binu was definitely the pick of the bowlers by which brought the opposing batsman to a standstill. It was amazing to see the variation of pace and swing from Binu. Highlights include some excellent catches and fielding. Tiss set the foundation to Globals chase by a solid 34 runs from 19 balls and was wrapped up with both Binu and Deepak making sure they got to the finishing line. Bowlers Binu and Skipper Sunny was a big threat to the batsman with both bowling perfectly which meant Global was in spot of bother with the scoreboard saying 40/6. This was an important win for Global with everyone giving 100% support on and off the field. Result- Global won by 4 wickets
